구글 크롬(Google Chrome), 24.0.1312.52 업데이트!!

구글에서 제공하는 오픈소스 기반 브라우저인 크롬(Google Chrome)의 업데이트가 공개되었다.
 

• Stable Channel Update (2013.01.10)

이번 업데이트는 11건의 High 등급, 8건의 Medium 등급, 5건의 Low등급 등 총 24건의 보안 취약점이 보안되었다.

24버전에서는 빠른 시작과 향상된 크롬의 V8 자바 스크립트 엔진, 브라우저 페이지에서 수학 수식과 기호를 렌더링하는 MathML(Mathematical Markup Language)용 지원 등 기능 향상 되었다고 한다.

또한 자체 내장된 Adobe Flash Player 플러그인의 보안 취약점(CVE-2013-0630) 문제를 해결한
Adobe Flash Player 11.5.31.137 버전이 업데이트도 같이 되었다.

■ Medium CVE-2012-5155 : Missing Mac sandbox for worker processes [Mac only] 

■ High CVE-2012-5156 : Use-after-free in PDF fields

■ Medium CVE-2012-5157 : Out-of-bounds reads in PDF image handling

■ High CVE-2013-0828 : Bad cast in PDF root handling

■ High CVE-2013-0829 : Corruption of database metadata leading to incorrect file access

■ Low CVE-2013-0830 : Missing NUL termination in IPC [Windows only]

■ Low CVE-2013-0831 : Possible path traversal from extension process

■ Medium CVE-2013-0832 : Use-after-free with printing

■ Medium CVE-2013-0833 : Out-of-bounds read with printing

■ Medium CVE-2013-0834 : Out-of-bounds read with glyph handling

■ Low CVE-2013-0835 : Browser crash with geolocation

■ High CVE-2013-0836 : Crash in v8 garbage collection

■ Medium CVE-2013-0837 : Crash in extension tab handling

■ Low CVE-2013-0838 : Tighten permissions on shared memory segments [Linux only]
